Creative Director
Kim (she/her/hers) is the Creative Director at ABD Direct, bringing more than 20 years of fundraising and leadership experience in the non-profit sector on both the industry’s agency and charity organization sides of the table. Before joining ABD Direct, she spent 15 years at Doctors Without Borders and subsequently consulted for digital and direct mail agencies as an independent creative strategist and copywriter. Highly collaborative, Kim helps set the creative direction for a holistic donor experience based on a data-driven strategy, providing strategic guidance around messaging, design, and branding, and writing or overseeing the copywriting for diverse and innovative campaigns.
She has had the honor of working with some of the world’s leading progressive non-profit organizations including Oxfam, Amnesty International, the Obama Foundation, Wildlife Conservation Society, and many others.
Kim has a love for building and optimizing sustainer programs and stewarding high-value donors. While at Doctors Without Borders, she grew its annual sustainer revenue to $36 million, doubling the program’s size over four years.
Kim lives in the incomparable Pacific Northwest where she spends a ridiculous amount of time attempting to make her yard beautiful and inviting to wildlife, and spoiling her dog and two cats.
